Worship  ~   You Will Be Welcomed
Worship

Welcome to our Sunday morning worship service. In joyful thanksgiving and humble obedience we join in communion each week to praise and worship God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our liturgy is guided by The Book of Common Prayer, our music is a blend of traditional and contemporary hymns and praise songs, and our readings are from both Old and New Testament scriptures. We celebrate Holy Eucharist with a sense of the real presence of Christ in the bread and wine. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive, kneeling if possible at the altar rail, and taking both elements as given by the priest and chalice bearer. It is our custom for children under the age of seven to receive a blessing from the priest instead of communion; we offer instruction in Holy Communion each fall to first and second graders.

We warmly invite you and your family to share with us in the Christian life of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, a member of the Episcopal Church, USA, and the worldwide Anglican Communion. Here at St Timothy’s we learn about, give thanks for, and share the rich life that God calls us to in his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.  Here we strive to become a community of love that supports and informs our Christian beliefs and values, and encourages us to put our faith into action, not only in church but at home, school and work. If you are new to our church and looking to find out more, Fr. Matt would be delighted to meet with you and talk about our church and its programs and what is involved in becoming a member. Whether thinking of joining or just visiting please sign the Guest Book in the Narthex and join us after the service for refreshments, fellowship and adult education.
